Argyle Legends Golf Day 2017

Friday 9th June 2017

The China Fleet Club,Saltash, was once again the venue for the third annual Argyle Legends Golf Day. Former players travelled from all over the country to take part in what has become a popular event in the Legends calendar. Players lined up with and against local businesses and organisations in what was a hugely successful day. 
The day started with the traditional coffee and bacon rolls and was followed by 18 holes of golf on the beautiful China Fleet course.
In the evening there was a dinner, followed by the presentations of cups and medals, kindly donated by the Green Taverners.
Roll of Honour
The Winning  four ball team was John Peddelty, Terry Austin, Mark Damerell and Colin Sullivan. 
The runners up were Gary Andrew,s team
The winner for the best former player was John Peddelty who was presented with the Aiden/Eileen Maher Trophy. 
The runner up was former player Jamie Lowry 
Winner of nearest the pin was Former player Terry Austin 
Winner of the Longest drive was Mark Page of Pasoti. 
Overall lowest score winner was Darren Desmon also from Pasoti. 
The runner up was Mark Young, father of former player Luke Young. 
In the raffle; 
Russ Milsom of Godolphin FC won a 4 ball at Trevose Golf Club courtesy of Dunc Haulage 
John Peddelty won a 4 ball at St. Mellion courtesy of DC Plastics. 
Mark Damerell won a pair of New Balance Football boots.
